I’m Zoë Jane Mitchell

I’m a certified yoga teacher and lover of all things health and wellness. I’m here to help you tap into your fullest potential and be a part of an amazing community.

You can expect to enhance your yoga practice, sweat through fun sculpt workouts and build strength, mobility, and flexibility through various drills. Movement, meditation, and rituals have helped give me a structure that has greatly enhanced my daily life. I want to share all that I’ve learned with you, so you too can start living and showing up as your best self

A little about me…

Im originally from a small town in Connecticut and now based in Miami, FL.

Outside of yoga, the gym, and other movement, I love spending time outside in nature. I grew up very outdoorsy, when I think back to my childhood I was always outside. I still love being in nature - taking hikes or biking. Someday it is my dream to live on a farm or ranch.

My boyfriend and I are crazy plant people, our apartment in Miami is filled with them. Besides taking care of plants, I love to cook and I must admit, I’m pretty good at it! Before I was living in Miami, I was in Mexico for two years during the pandemic. I love to travel and experience different cultures and meet new people. love being a content creator.

It’s such a blessing to have found a passion that is also my work and what I do for fun. 

How I got here

I took my 200hr RYT at my local studio in CT, where my yoga journey first began. My mom was the one who got me into yoga, she practices every single day and is such an inspiration.

My yoga journey truly started during my senior year in college. I was struggling to find ways to stay active that I actually enjoyed. I got into running and started incorporating yoga to stretch. I also discovered the Instagram world of yogis and remember being blown away by what I saw. I had no idea that yoga could be so physically advanced.

During this period, I was also going through a tough time mentally. These three things all ignited my interest in yoga. I was instantly hooked and never looked back. I knew this was my passion and what I would be doing for the rest of my life. My teaching journey began when I was living in Tulum. I was fortunate to connect and practice with some of the most amazing international teachers, as well as teach at some of the best studios. My time abroad really shaped me, my practice, and the way I teach.

I’m so grateful to have this platform to share all I know with you. 

I believe the best teachers are also the best students.

Im always furthering my education, and continuing to be a student. My goal here is to create a community where we can help motivate, inspire, and learn from one another. I believe that you are who you hang with. So let’s make that each other. If you’re here already, we probably share similar values and goals. Together we can continue the journey of showing up as our best selves and living the life we desire.

Happiness truly comes from the small things in life. It’s the rituals we create, the movement we do to stay active, and the way we chose to nourish our body and mind. These small shifts create a much larger impact.
